Providing autism & ADHD resources, connection, and understanding in East Berkshire.
Click on the tabs below for more information.
GEMS works with parents and carers, sharing understanding of autism & ADHD and collaborating on strategies that respect each child’s ways of being in the home environment. We empower families to create supportive home environments and to recognise and build on individual strengths. We offer this through workshops, courses, animations, and by signposting to local and national services.
A full list of our support options can be found in our workshops section.
Some are standalone sessions (e.g. anxiety, sleep), others are multi-session courses. All are developed with input from families and people with lived experience of autism and ADHD.
Our short animations offer accessible learning opportunities that highlight key ideas about neurodiversity.
Social sessions for children aged 5 to 10 — opportunities for peer connection, shared play, and practising ways of relating in a low-pressure setting.
You can contact our helpline by calling 01753 373 244 / 0800 999 1342 or by emailing gems.4health@nhs.net
